VisualPork

Current imaging devices allow the acquisition of data about any part of an animal body with an accuracy of millimetres. This information is represented in images and is processed by using specialized techniques. Thanks to the advances in image and visualization techniques the procedures performed by butchers may be reproduced. VisualPork is a user-friendly platform that integrates in the same environment basic and advanced image analysis and visualization techniques to support the exploration of Computed Tomography images acquired from pork carcasses. VisualPork has a modular design and supports the integration of new functionalities to reproduce any kind of procedure.
