Inclusive Learning

The Inclusive Learning Project (Supporting Trainers for an Inclusive Vocational Education and Training) aims to provide to Vocational Education and Training (VET) institutions with a solution for related inclusion problems (addressing the Lifelong Learning Program priorities) considering two main aspects:

·         Guidelines and a certified training course for trainers of people with disabilities, in order to facilitate them to address the diversity during their training process by considering different target groups (such as multilingual people, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, low vision and blind people, as well as deaf people).

·         A technological infrastructure for designing, sharing and delivering accessible digital training resources and courses for people with disabilities.

The Inclusive Learning Project aims at:

  • Providing an integrated technical infrastructure developed in previous projects, namely the eAccess II Project and the ALTER-NATIVA Project, so as to facilitate trainers of people with disabilities to design accessible digital training content and courses.
  • Providing accessibility guidelines including pedagogical methodologies to address learning needs of people with disabilities in a learning process.
  • Design a certified training course for VET trainers, so as to empower them with the appropriate competences for designing, sharing and delivering accessible digital training content and courses by using the technical tools and services provide by the project technical infrastructure
  • Performing a set of pilots with trainers of people with disabilities, so as to validate the proposed certified training course
