Yenny Leal defends her PhD thesis

On July 30th, Yenny Leal - a researcher at MICELAB, defended her PhD thesis. Her dissertation  "Enfoques metodológicos para mejorar la precisión y fiabilidad de los sistemas de monitorización continua de glucosa en pacientes con diabetes tipo 1 y en pacientes críticos mediante técnicas lineales y no lineales" was supervised by Dr Josep Vehí, Director of the research group, and by Dr Magda Ruiz researcher at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. This is the fourth PhD thesis presented by members of the Institute of Informatics and Applications in 2013.
