Alfred Inselberg visits the UdG08/10/2012
Invited by Mateu Sbert, Director of the GiLab group, Professor Alfred Inselberg, from the School of Mathematical Sciences at Tel Aviv University gave a lecture about multidimensional visualization. Inselberg is the creator of the Multidimensional System of Parallel Coordinates, currently applied to air traffic control, crash prevention, computer vision and data mining.

eXiT will take part in the ITEA & ARTEMIS Co-summit 2012 that will take place in Paris in October. Andrés El-Fakdi and Sergio Herraiz from eXiT will present the projects MEDIATE, IMPONET and ENERFICENCY. Regarding the MEDIATE project, they will demo a simulation of a CDSS (Clinical Decision Suport System), which is applied to TAVI (Trans catheter Aortic Valve Implantation) interventions.
