Anna Carreras (MICELab) awarded magna cum laude for her degree project

Anna Carreras presented last September her degree project  'Nova plataforma amb pacients i escenaris més reals per a l'avaluació de controladors per a pacients amb Diabetis Mellitus Tipus 1' for which she received the highest award. The lead researcher of the MICELab group Josep Vehí supervised the project.

Over the project, Anna Carreras upgraded MICELab’s simulation platform by implementing virtual patients and real life scenarios, in order to validate the controllers for patients with DMT1 before the clinical trials, which are planned for the beginning of 2013.
