Project MESC kicks off

On 18 October, researchers of eXiT and of the Polytechnic  University of Madrid met at the University of Girona in the first meeting of the project MESC. MESC is a three-year collaborative research project funded by the Spanish Ministry for Economy and Competitiveness (reference DPI2013-47450-C2). It aims to develop a platform for monitoring and assessing the efficiency of distribution systems in smart cities. The coordinated project is co-led by Joan Colomer and Carles Pous, senior members of the Institute of Informatics and Applications.
