Girona Graphics Group (GGG)

The GGG began its research activity at 1993 with the study of problems related to the realistic images generation software. Since then, the GGG has extended the focus of its work dealing with several aspects of visualization from both scientific and technological point of view. Thus, actually the GGG develops his research in:

  • Realistic rendering.
  • Scientific visualization.
  • Computional geometry.
  • Appearance and perception.
  • Virtual Reality.

In these research lines, the GGG deals with problems related to interactive graphic and visualization fundamentals, as well as with applications of diverse types :

  • Medical imaging.
  • Public lighting.
  • Lighting design.
  • Luminaries design.
  • Driving simulation.
  • Interactive games.
