The Institute: Presentation

The Institute of Informatics and Applications, IIiA, is a research institute of the University of Girona created in Summer 1996. Its goals are the scientific research and the technological development in the several informatic fields it covers as well as the transfer of knowledge and technology to its socioeconomic environment.

The IIiA research staff belongs to the Department of Electronics, Computer Engineering and Automatics and to the Department of Informatics and Applied Mathematics.
