IMPONET project wins ITEA Excellence Award 2013


IMPONET, a project devoted to the intelligent monitoring of power networks, has won the ITEA Excellence Award 2013. This prize recognizes European collaborative R&D projects achieving advanced technological results and showing best practice. Several members of the eXiT group: Joaquim Meléndez, Francesc Gómez, Víctor Barrera, Sergio Herraiz and Roberto Petite took part in the project since eXiT was responsible for one its workpackages.

IMPONET was  lead by Indra Software Labs and is funded by the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism. ITEA is the EUREKA cluster supporting innovative, industry-driven R&D projects in the area of Software-intensive Systems and Services. The eXiT research group is part of the Institute of Informatics and Applications.
