eXiT participates in European project HIT2GAP

The IIiA's eXiT research group will participate in HIT2GAP, a European project which seeks to model and reduce energy consumption in buildings. The 4-year project will start next fall and is granted by the Energy-efficient Buildings private-public-partnership within the framework programme H2020. eXiT members Joaquim Meléndez, Joan Colomer and Sergio Herraiz have experience in intelligent systems to monitor the energy buildings consume and have played a relevant role in the conceptual definition of the project. HIT2GAP is coordinated by French technological centre NobaTek and its consortium is made up of 22 partners, including universities, research centres and companies.
