Albert Pla presents MoSHCA at MIHealth Forum 2014

Albert Pla, researcher of the eXiT research group, presented the poster "Monitoring Premature Born Babies with MoSHCA" at MIHealth Forum 2014. The event, which took place in Barcelona on 21 - 22 May, brought together researchers, companies, clinical professionals and healthcare managers to discuss innovative ways to provide better healthcare.

MoSHCA is an R&D project that develops intelligent healthcare solutions for patients with chronic diseases  and general health monitoring by means of medical sensors and smartphones. Albert's poster showed the work carried out so far by the University of Girona, IdibGi and Answare Tech in the use case of premature born babies.

MoSHCA is a two-year EUREKA ITEA2 project (Label 11027) funded by the Spanish Ministry for Economy and Competitiveness (reference: IPT-2012-0943-300000). Dr Beatriz López coordinates it at the University of Girona.
