Ferran Torrent research stay at Imperial College London


Ferran Torrent, member of the eXiT research group, has spent 3 months, from January to April 2014, at Imperial College London. Invited by Dr Jeremy Pitt, deputy head of ICL's Intelligent Systems and Networks group, during his research stay he carried out R&D on resource location and allocation techniques. Ferran Torrent is a PhD student at the Institute of Informatics and Applications. His doctoral thesis is being supervised by Dr Beatriz López. Ferran's work has focused on centralized techniques. His research stay at ICL will allow him to complement his work with decentralized methods.
